Slammin' and Jammin'

Typically the bivouac prefers rides that are close to higher spec stock than custom, but this slammed Pontiac Fiero GT is impressive! Even more so as it appears to be somewhere in Europe. Nicely done! The stuff of my dreams when I was a young lad…and maybe even a bit today.

Designbivouac typically leans toward rides that stay close to higher-spec stock builds rather than heavily customized ones, but this slammed Pontiac Fiero GT is a definite exception. It’s a bold, head-turning take on a mid-engine classic, and the stance is executed with surprising finesse. What makes it even more impressive is spotting it somewhere in Europe, where Fieros are already a rare sight. It’s a refreshing remix of an underrated '80s icon, and whoever built it knew what they were doing. Nicely done!

The Pontiac Fiero is a classic American sports car that gained popularity in the 1980s. What set the Fiero apart was its distinctive mid-engine design, a rarity among affordable sports cars of its era. Introduced in 1984, the Fiero was initially available with a four-cylinder engine, later offering a V6, making it a more spirited performer. It was known for its sleek, aerodynamic styling and lightweight construction, which contributed to its impressive handling characteristics. Despite its initial success, the Fiero faced criticism for early models' performance and reliability issues; however, Pontiac made significant improvements over the years. The Fiero has since developed a dedicated fan base and is cherished for its unique place in automotive history as one of the few mid-engine American production cars.
