Chase Online Banking Concept
Supporting Natural Financial Interactions.

Financial “Stacks” Empower Users With Intuitive Financial Interactions

This proposed redesign of Chase’s online banking interface is rooted in human-centered design and behavioral insights. Research has revealed that people naturally organize their finances into purposeful “stacks”—modular groupings aligned with specific goals or responsibilities—rather than as linear lists of transactions.

Inspired by this mental model, the new interface introduces flexible, goal-oriented containers for saving, spending, and planning. Each stack allows users to allocate funds toward specific priorities, making financial intentions more visible, manageable, and actionable.

This modular structure empowers Chase customers to set rules for certain portions of their finances. It simplifies navigation, enhances clarity, and transforms traditional banking into a more intuitive, personalized money management experience.
