Foresight.OS
Turning Strategic Foresight into a Working Environment.

Scaling Designbiovuac’s Future Vision Practice with an Integrated Analyst Workspace

Foresight.OS is a strategic foresight workspace built for venture investors, corporate strategy teams, and professional futurists. It turns a curated set of one hundred macro drivers — synthesized from publicly available frameworks and re-categorized across the STEEP taxonomy — into AI-generated scenarios across multiple horizons, tones, and domains. Outputs that traditionally require multi-week analyst engagements now surface far more efficiently.

The result is a foresight tool that mirrors how senior strategists actually think — moving fluidly between a library of inputs, a generative narrative engine, a classical visualization, and a system-level cause-and-effect map. An AI layer accelerates the slowest parts of the work, drafting stage descriptions, clustering driver relationships, and producing structured strategic impact analyses, while the practitioner retains authorship of the final point of view.

The platform was designed with extensibility in mind: additional database sources can be added to bring more focused context, and the driver library will continue to expand alongside the published frameworks it draws from.

Ultimately, the workspace complements designbivouac’s future vision capabilities, empowering users to identify plausible interconnected futures that can be explored through visualization, narrative development, strategic storytelling, and the applied lenses of design thinking, including user desirability, technical feasibility, and business viability.

Impact

Released for internal use across designbivouac's foresight engagements in 2026, Foresight.OS has become the studio's working surface for venture-grade strategic foresight. By augmenting the workflow from kickoff to first scenarios, it has changed both the cadence of client engagements and the shape of the conversations that follow.

The FORESIGHT.OS application is structured around four interconnected views. Driver Cards display the macro driver library as a visual deck of one hundred signals, each classified within a STEEP category and attributed to sources including the WEF, McKinsey, or synthesized research.

The interface includes options for configuring scenario parameters, active drivers including 'GLP-1 Metabolic Revolution' and 'Longevity Science,' and stage progression visualizations from 2024 to 2027. The sidebar contains categories such as Driver Cards, Scenarios, Future Cone, and others, with a legend explaining abbreviations for society, technology, economy, ecology, and politics. The bottom section discusses the significance of the 'GLP-1 and longevity convergence' and strategic impact analysis.

The Scenarios view lets a user pick a time frame, scenario type, and scenario lens, then composes a five-stage AI-generated future from the active drivers, complete with capital-flow archetypes, divergence values, and a strategic impact narrative.

A dark-themed digital interface showing a strategic foresight visualization called Future Cone. The visualization displays trajectories of future scenarios over time, using curved lines representing various future possibilities such as social, technological, economic, ecological, and political, with labels like 'Longivity Economy Matures' and 'Social Fabric Reconfiguration.' The interface includes navigation options, scenario selection buttons, and a legend explaining the color codes for different sectors.

The Future Cone view plots that scenario's trajectory across the four classical bands — probable, possible, plausible, and preferable (preferable meaning futures that are good for a given company, culture and the planet) — over a configurable horizon.

The If/Then Logic Flows view treats a selected set of drivers as a system rather than a list, surfacing compound, tension, and prerequisite interactions, then resolving them into a branching IF condition with primary THEN and alternate ELSE consequences, each tagged with the drivers most responsible.
